Bok S. Lee has focused her practice in the fields of aircraft finance and international commercial and general corporate law. Her practice has included the representation of the U.S. Export-Import Bank in asset-based financings of Boeing, Sikorsky and other commercial aircraft; the representation of a microfinance organization in their transformation to regulated financial institutions in Armenia and Nicaragua; and general corporate counseling to an information technology products and services provider in the air transport industry and a high-tech consulting and research firm.
Prior to joining robert wray PLLC, Ms. Lee held corporate counsel positions at CIENA Corporation and COMSAT Corporation. She worked in Hong Kong for two years as the sole attorney supporting CIENA's Asia Pacific operations. She has negotiated INTELSAT-related infrastructure agreements and numerous multi-million dollar transactions for the sale of telecommunications products and services, and developed customer agreements for value added services. In her corporate counsel role, Ms. Lee was also responsible for the corporate governance of foreign subsidiaries and enforcement of corporate policies and procedures.
Ms. Lee received her J.D., cum laude, from the American University, Washington College of Law. She was a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of International Law and Policy. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Virginia, where she received her B.A. in Foreign Affairs.
Ms. Lee is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey Bars.
